Welcome to Twin Springs Camps -
Twin Springs Camps
Located in Fayette Maine. Just outside of Augusta Maine.
Built in the early 1900s, the camps retain the charm of a typical Maine cottage, with wood paneling throughout, a working stone fireplace,
and water views. They are rustic, yet clean and comfortable. The property comprises 8 acres of Maine woods for exploring and gathering
wildflowers, with a sandy beach, an anchored float for brisk swimming, and a lake for great fishing including bass, salmon, trout and white
perch. The kids will love fishing right off the dock that is in front of each camp or taking out the aluminum rowboat provided with each
cabin. Your own private dock is also great for watching eagles and osprey or enjoying sunset cocktails.
The grounds include shared picnic areas, a horse shoe pit, a swimming beach, and two outdoor stone fireplaces. Twin Springs is a perfect setting
for a small family reunion! The fire pits are fabulous for steaming a batch of fresh Maine lobster and corn on the cob. There is a boardwalk with
chairs just above the beach where campers enjoy sharing stories, watching the kids, reading and just relaxing.
The rental cottages
accommodate and are limited to up to 6 guests.
The camps are located in a central area of Maine and can be a great place to relax after a day of sight-seeing. This part of the state is special,
unspoiled, fresh and clean. The rocky coastal shore is approximately 1.5 hours away, and an hour's drive gets you to great shopping in Freeport.
Driving along the Maine back roads is a delightful way to experience Maine life. Many small towns offer luncheon opportunities as well as historical
sites to visit. You never know when you might run across a great yard sale full of Down East treasures!
